Subject: ONS consultation on statistical outputs
The Office for National Statistics (ONS) is seeking your views to inform
necessary reductions to our statistical outputs in the following areas:
survey products; regional and local outputs; health statistics and
analyses, life events; and health inequalities analysis.
The outputs listed in the consultation represent costs in excess of the
savings we must make, so your feedback on the need for, and use of, these
outputs will help us to prioritise reductions. Further information and a
link to the consultation questionnaire are on the ONS website at
http://www.ons.gov.uk/ons/about-ons/get-involved/consultations/consultations/statistical-products-2013/index.html
Please circulate this to any of your colleagues who may be interested in,
or affected by, the proposed changes.
If you have any enquiries please email
[log in to unmask] and we will respond to you as soon
as possible.
The consultation closes on 31 October 2013.
Thank you
Nick O'Donnell
