-----------------------------------------------------------------
Date: Thursday 7th November
More info: http://bit.ly/17XPZ7h

Learn to effectively design, plan, implement and deliver better quality e-learning materials with high-impact results.
During the day, you will also get a chance to explore how instructional design can be applied in your own context helping you to create highly effective e-learning focussing specifically on your learner and their experience.
This practical workshop explains methodologies behind effective instructional design - often referred to as the "holy grail of e-learning", suited to anyone with an interest in the design, development and delivery of online learning materials.

Podcasting: A Practical Guide
----------------------------------------------------------------
Date: Thursday 14th November 2013
More info: http://bit.ly/16p4LWD

Producing a podcast is simple but on this online workshop you will learn the tips and tricks of creating one that people will actually enjoy listening to.
We'll consider questions such as: What makes a good podcast? What's the best format for your show? What equipment do you need? What are the practicalities of producing your show?
This workshop is suitable for anyone who would like to understand the potential of podcasts and create their own for any application.

NEW: Screencasting Online
-------------------------------------
Date: Tuesday 12th November 2013
More info: http://bit.ly/13M3zcX

Screencasts are an innovative method of communication and instruction based on broadcasting a recording of screen activity, often combined with narration and other visuals. Making effective use of this approach requires an understanding of the medium as well as a range of skills.
This workshop will consider different approaches to screencasting, from live-recording to post-production editing of a mixed media screencast.

Making WordPress Work For You
---------------------------------------------
Date: Tuesday 22nd October 2013
More info: http://bit.ly/19tdsAF

An online workshop covering the practical skills needed to install, maintain and customise WordPress.
Discover how to install, customise and explore a working WordPress site, as well as different ways to use posts, pages, categories, tags and feeds. And consider alternative uses for WordPress beyond a blog during this day long online workshop.
This is not a technical workshop on server administration or developing for WordPress, although some knowledge of HTML, CSS and PHP would be useful, but it is not essential.

All of these workshops will be delivered entirely online through your web browser. Just like our traditional workshops, we take a practical approach, offer the same quality learning experience, but without the time and expense of travel. Also included is a pre-workshop seminar. This will provide an introduction to some of the key themes of the workshop and an overview of Blackboard Collaborate, our web-based training system.

Early bird prices are available for all workshops. For full details, visit our workshop programme page: http://bit.ly/Autumn2013All

Hope to see you soon!
