Surely the performance and apptitude/attitude of nursing staff should
initially fall to the responsibility of their employers, and reported from
there to the NMC if any issues that cannot be resolved at ground level? Or
is this another opportunity for the NMC to sneek in another fees hike in the
not too distant future!!!! how much more will they be getting for very
little output.

Subject: [OCC-HEALTH] NMC News on revalidation for Nurses
Dear List, If you haven't seen the latest you can read it here
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/health-23971498 What are your thougts? I'm
particularly interestd to hear your views about how this will affect those
of us who are self employed eg do we write our own 'character reference' and
as a few of our clients come into the disgruntled category regarding our
difference of opinion on their fitness for work, how will this work in
practice?
Rgds,
Jeremy
