New Release of DSpace CRIS Module
CINECA and the University of Hong Kong (HKU) are pleased to announce the new and very important release of DSpace-CRIS module based on DSpace 3.2. It can now be downloaded for free, here: https://github.com/CILEA/dspace-cris
This DSpace add-on enables the ingestion, storage, display and management of metadata and full text on many different research entities. This module produces a smooth integration between native DSpace items (publications) and other CRIS entities. All entities (native DSpace items or new CRIS Entities) can be linked with each other using autocomplete/lookup functions in the submission-edit phase and/or the inter-navigation in visualizations.
This new release is a major step forward to CERIF compliance as the system is now able to manage as many separates entities as you need along with their proper metadata. These entities could be people, journals, awards, funding schema or anything else that you might wish to add. Full compliance with CERIF and a CERIF XML Export are scheduled for the next release. The updated DSpace-CRIS
