Dear All
(Apologies for cross-posting)
We need some advice about how Moodle works with Internet Explorer. We are using IE9, and we get lots of "Connection Error" messages. We have to press F5 or the back key to get back into Moodle, but this sometimes loses work we were trying to save. The users get the impression that Moodle has crashed, which is unfair. It doesn't seem to happen with Firefox, but we have to use IE in College for other reasons, and our IT department are reluctant to start supporting multiple browsers.
I have been told it may be because our security settings are high, and as an FE college, they obviously need to be with students challenging the system. Can anyone give some advice about how to combine high security with reliable connections?
Thanks very much.
