We are seeking a Project Coordinator for our Heritage Lottery Funded 'Young Roots' project, 'Sores, Spores and Sickly Bugs'. This project will allow young people aged 14 - 18 to explore the medical heritage of East London and how this has influenced the health of young East Londoners over time. Participants will undertake research using the archives of the Royal London Hospital Museum and develop and deliver a hands-on workshop for the young participants' peers, families, and the wider public during school holidays. Website content to be hosted by Centre of the Cell and the Royal London Hospital Museum will also be developed. The post holder will work closely with Centre of the Cell's Youth Forum and the Royal London Hospital Museum to deliver this project. The post holder will be responsible for ensuring that the project is delivered in time and on budget.
Suitable candidates will have experience of developing learning activities and resources and of working with young people aged 14 - 18.
