Dear Colleagues,
 
Physical Chemistry Chemical Physics (PCCP) is delighted to announce a forthcoming high-profile themed issue on "Physical Chemistry of Nanoparticles”, with Guest Editors Jochen Küpper, Alf Mews and Horst Weller (CFEL and University of Hamburg).
 
This will be the official themed issue of the international Bunsen-Tagung 2014 meeting on the same theme organised by the Deutsche Bunsen-Gesellschaft (DBG) which takes place in Hamburg, Germany in May 2014.  Free copies of the themed issue will be available at the meeting, maximising the visibility and profile of all published papers.
 
We would like to invite you to submit a Perspective article to this PCCP themed issue. The deadline for submissions is the 20th December 2013, although submissions before this date are of course welcomed. Please see the attached guidelines for information about Perspective articles.
 
PCCP has very strong links with the Bunsentagung and the DBG is a co-owner of PCCP. PCCP has published a themed issue on the Bunsen-Tagung Hauptthema for the past several years:
· 'Theory meets Spectroscopy', 2013
· Ionic Liquids 2012
· Ultrafast Photon-Induced Reactions 2011
· Interfacial Systems Chemistry 2010

All submissions will be subject to rigorous peer review to meet the high standards of PCCP. When you submit your article, please indicate that it is for the themed issue. Further details about PCCP can be found on our website www.rsc.org/pccp.
 
We hope you will be able to accept our invitation. If you are unable to contribute a Perspective article, we welcome you to submit an original research paper instead. If you have any queries, please get in touch.
