Following the huge success of our Alma Roadshow last year, we have
decided to celebrate Alma going live by taking to the road again. This
year, we are bringing Roger Brisson
(http://www.bu.edu/library/profile/brisson-roger ), Head of Metadata
and Cataloging at Boston University Libraries
(http://tinyurl.com/nyjpyt6 ), along with us. Alma went live at Boston
University in November 2012, replacing their Innovative Interfaces
Millennium library system: Roger will show you Alma live in action, give
you information about their Alma project and be on hand to answer any
questions you may have.
Come and join us either in London (Tuesday 27th August) or Leeds
(Wednesday 28th August), or Stirling (Friday 30th August)!
Selected by over 160 institutions worldwide and live for over a year,
Alma represents the future of libraries. Offering unified resource
management, Alma streamlines your workflows, thus making your library
more efficient. The in-built analytics enable you to make better
informed decisions which in turn save you time and money. As a
cloud-based solution, you not only save money on hardware but also time
which used to be spent on performing updates. Even the implementation is
quick and easy, with the majority of the work being performed for you by
Ex Libris.
For more information about the content of these days, please see the
agenda below. We very much hope you will be able to join us!
