academic year 2012-13, the College successfully introduced a new Imperial Horizons
programme for undergraduate students. The programme aims to put science in the
context of the wider world and to develop interdisciplinary approaches to learning and
thinking. This programme includes a range of courses in the field of Languages and
global citizenship. We are looking for a course tutor to teach in German in this
programme
The post involves planning and teaching German Studies classes to students from
across the College and marking and examination duties. There is one class available
(with a total of 40 contact hours over the Autumn and Spring Terms). Teaching will take
place on Mondays between 4.00 -6.00pm.
You will be a graduate, preferably with a postgraduate qualification in modern
languages, linguistics, or related field, with experience of teaching German at university
level.
