Role: Liaison Librarian, Tate

A unique opportunity has arisen to help deliver proactive and user-focussed library services to support Tate employees and external researchers at Tate Library, an international centre of excellence for art historical research. Tate Library is part of the world's largest repository of British art from 1500 and international art from 1900. The Library Collections are housed in the Hyman Kreitman Reading Rooms and Stores at Tate Britain.
You will have a post-graduate qualification in Library and Information Studies and the ability to build strong relationships with Tate employees working in a designated subject area, as well as experience of selecting, acquiring and cataloguing items in a variety of formats.
You will be joining a small, enthusiastic and friendly team of Librarians, all of whom participate in the delivery of research services to Tate staff and external researchers in the Reading Rooms at Tate Britain. You will, therefore, have good communication and interpersonal skills with experience of delivering excellent customer service.
