Thanks for the explanation, Jeremy. It makes sense, with that
background, and it is a natural workaround when we have no overall
de-conflicted change schedule, and no resources to set-up or maintain
one - so we farm it out to the sites. It would have worked, had I known
in advance. But when the ticket arrived, I didn't know about that scheme.
Maarten has been "heroic" with glexec, and Alessandra has worked through
the SL6/EMI3 phase well. There are many other examples. But these
represent islands of organisation. Ah well, Rome wasn't built in a day!
