Blind and partially sighted children can join in this year's Summer
Reading Challenge through their local library and the RNIB National
Library Service.
Children can register at their local public library where a VI pack
should be available at the beginning of the summer holidays (but if not
we have a supply at RNIB National Library Service). The challenge is for
children to read six books - whilst collecting various goodies along the
way. A certificate and medal will be awarded to every child who
completes the challenge.
Children can borrow books from RNIB National Library Service and enjoy
activities at their local library. RNIB have produced themed booklists
of braille, giant print and audio titles, to give children ideas about
what to borrow.
