Dear all,
St Andrew’s, the UK’s leading charity providing specialist NHS care, is inviting entries to a prize for the best research project conducted by a masters level student from any UK university. We’re hoping to advertise this prize widely and offer the opportunity to participate to as wide a range of students as possible.
The competition is open to Master’s students of any discipline who have completed a research project and dissertation that is of relevance to the clinical activity of the Charity: St Andrew’s provides specialist mental health care for adolescents, adults and older people with mental disorder, learning disability and acquired brain injury, mostly in low and medium secure conditions. For more details of the Charity’s work, see www.stah.org. Entrants are invited to submit a concise summary of their dissertation research by the closing date of October 30th 2013. Total prize money: £500
Eligible: Students enrolled on a Masters level course in 2012/13
Where presented: St Andrew’s Healthcare, Northampton
Regulations:
The entry should summarise a full dissertation. It should not exceed 1,000 words, including a maximum of 10 references and two Tables and/or Figures.
The dissertation should have been completed in the period 2011 – 2013.
The winner will be asked to provide a copy of the full dissertation thesis prior to the prize award.
St Andrew’s will appoint a minimum of three examiners to judge the entries.
Entrants should be available to collect their prize on 2nd December 2013 at St Andrew’s Healthcare, Northampton (reasonable expenses apply).
