The problem with using a license you don't understand is akin to breaking a law and then claiming the defence of not understanding the law. Basically, you've not got one.
Amazon terms and conditions as one example will be tempered / mitigated by statutory rights (sales of good act, unfair contract terms act) whereas there isn't - if any - statutes governing licences.
