Hi
I know many do but I do not use a tick box approach to report writing and have not liked any that I have seen. With a tick box, you might initially save yourself some time but you stand a good chance of reducing the quality of your advice and costing yourself time and reputation in the longer term. If you have a good simple format of report and template, collection of stock phrases that you can weave in without it being obvious that you have done so and a reasonable command of English, writing a decent report should be fairly quick. I do though tend to bullet point or number the advice, which helps with speed and clarity.
I am sure there are many other view though.
Thanks
Lindsey

Subject: [OCC-HEALTH] Management Referral feedback reports
Good afternoon OH Jiscers
Is anyone is using a MR report format that consists of tick boxes or bullet points as opposed to full sentences and paragraphs.
I would like to explore more succinct and time efficient report writing and think this could be the way forward for me!
It will be hard to break the habit of writing a 'proper' report but when push comes to shove.....
Grateful for any suggestions.
Thank you in advance!
Priscilla
