Hi,
My suggestion is to have a two day hands-on course.
Day 1 - Looking at Radius fundamentals (Or even setting up a Radius server) and how it fits with Moonshot
Day 2 - setting up Moonshot to handle basic authentication stuff, e.g., SSH.
Or if possible do both in one day...
The main aim for me to attend this course would be so that I can setup basic Moonshot authentication and have enough knowledge about the workings of Moonshot to be able to integrate it with other authentication mechanisms.
Regards,
Ahmed Sajid,
STFC.

Subject: Re: Training Course
Hi David,
Thanks for the input. Totally agree with your points in principle.
However, Janet Training doesn't really offer training to end users, rather we provide training for our direct customers - universities, colleges, schools, local gov, etc. So our focus here is definitely more on the application integrators / Administrator end of things.
And of those two, I'm leaning towards concentrating heavily on the Administrator end of things. That's typically the kind of delegate we get on our existing courses.
I'm not convinced that there would be a huge amount of take-up from our community for a course aimed at application integrators - do we have that many people who are going to be doing that aspect of things? (I'm not saying that community doesn't exist and isn't large, rather just that they're not the kind of people who would usually attend a course run by Janet Training).
Does anyone strongly disagree with this?
Rhys.
