keen to work in an academic library supporting staff and students in the
Faculty of Sciences and Social Sciences.

Liverpool Hope University wishes to appoint a trainee Faculty Librarian to
work with our Sciences & Social Sciences Faculty supporting the Business
School and the Departments of Psychology and Mathematics and Computer
Sciences. This post is aimed at recent qualified librarians and will
provide a detailed training programme to support the successful candidate.
A set of performance targets will be set and successful achievement of
these could lead to an extension to a permanent post.
The successful applicant will maintain and develop services to support the
learning, teaching, research, enterprise and partnership activities of the
staff and students of the University.
Applicants will be educated to degree level, with a professional
qualification in library/information studies, and preferably some
experience of learner support activities in one-to-one and group settings.
Experience of working in an academic library supporting students would be
an advantage.
