Northern Collaboration Conference, “Collaboration: the New Academy”,
Friday 13 September 2013 at the Researcher Hub, University of Huddersfield.
The conference aims to capture and share good practice in collaborative working. Many organisations are adapting to the HE reforms and economic uncertainty by thinking and working differently. The fundamental role of the library is changing and is being challenged in new ways that would have been unthinkable in the past. Risks and threats to the existence of libraries are ever present. This conference explores whether collaboration heightens or reduces the risks and what opportunities exist to strengthen the academic library. It will examine working across boundaries in ways that are both innovative and cost effective manner.
The cost is £50. For details and a click-through booking form please go to the link below.
