As a number of people are away on field work and have not been able to register, the early bird registration and abstract submission deadline has been extended until July 26th.
See the conference website for what promises to be a lively and fruitful 3 day conference with internationally excellent keynote speakers across a wide range of sub-disciplines addressing key issues relating to the formation, preservation and recycling of continental crust.
Contributors include Kent Condie (New Mexico) presenting the Hallimond lecture and Mike Brown (Maryland who is the Collins Medallist, as well as Chris Hawkesworth, Richard Ernst, Jeremy Richards, Martin Whitehouse and Jeroen van Hunen.

We also are holding a pre-conference 2 day workshop on in-situ analytical techniques aimed at early career researchers and featuring many experts.
There are also 2 post-conference fieldtrips on offer: the Lewisian Gneiss Complex of NW Scotland and the Channel Islands and Brittany.
