American Geophysical Union Fall Meeting, San Francisco, 9 to 13 December
2013
Dear colleague,
you are cordially invited to send the abstract of your
climate/statistics research to our session:

Description:
Instrumental data are of great interest since they provide direct
observation of climate evolution. Yet, climate archives allow
deciphering past climate changes on larger temporal scales. This session
will host contributions on the identification of forcing factors on
climate recorded in natural archives (marine/lake sediments, ice cores,
speleothems, tree rings) and instrumental observations, from the last
century to the last interglacial. New statistical methodologies and
applied quantitative studies devoted to calibrating archive-derived
signals using of instrumental data are encouraged, in order to extend
further back in time the understanding of climate variability.
