Professional Services Grade 3b (£32,930 - £40,720 per annum)

Imperial's Information and Communication Technologies Division is looking to recruit an E-learning Support Officer. The main responsibility of the post is to provide support for e-learning technologies to staff and students, such as the Virtual Learning Environment (VLE), plagiarism detection and lecture recording systems.
The College, like most Universities, is increasingly using e-learning technologies to deliver its world class, teaching services in an exciting and innovative manner. The post is based on the South Kensington campus and sits within the ICT E-learning Services team who are responsible for providing support for e-learning technologies and for ensuring compliance of College web sites and web based user interfaces with respect to the legal requirements for web accessibility.
Candidates will have experience of using and/or administering a VLE and other e-learning technologies. They should also have a good understanding of accessibility and the legal requirements for web-based interfaces. Candidates will be educated to degree level in a technical discipline or have equivalent experience. Good interpersonal and organisational skills are important to this role, as is the ability to understand and explain technical issues to those with and without a technical background.
