An opportunity has arisen for an Archivist at the National Jazz Archive, based in Loughton, Essex.
We are looking for a professionally qualified Archivist, with experience of ISAD(G) based cataloguing and preferably experience in using CALM. The job will involve collections development, responsibility for preservation and digitisation, supervision of volunteers and outreach (working with our Learning and Outreach Officer). You will also be selecting materials to be used in "The Story of British Jazz" (http://www.nationaljazzarchive.org.uk).
The post is available from October 2013 and is a 12 month contract working four days per week. The closing date for applications is Sunday 18th August.
