Whilst not strictly about anthropology, or by an anthropologist, (so
maybe totally irrelevant - in which case apologies), I would strongly
recommend reading Gerald Raunig's recent book 'Factories of Knowledge,
Industries of Creativity' on this topic. The Edu-Factory book, 'Towards
a Global Autonomous University' may also be interesting.
Again, apologies if these are a bit out of scope but I would consider
them very relevant, even if you may have to join up some of the dots
yourself with regards to the affects for anthropology.
