The rubric is: write the poem celebrating the Royal birth that Carole Ann
Duffy might have written, were she not currently "away". Triteness,
toadying and twee internal rhymes are encouraged.
Here's mine, to give you a flavour:
NO NAME
No name, no name yet for the blue-blood wean
except the one his lineage bestows,
proudest and best of British, sunny as
a day at Wimbledon, a glorious win -
we welcome you, son of a royal Mother,
our future King, our Prince Saxe-Coburg-Gotha.
