About the role
The Royal Collection is one of the largest and most important art collections in the world. Increasing public access and understanding of the Royal Collection is a significant strategic objective for the organisation. To date 225,000 objects have been published in the Collection Online section of the Royal Collection Trust's website.
As the Collection Online Content Manager, you will be responsible for co-ordinating the content and functional enhancements to the Collection Online section of Royal Collection Trust's Website.
Day to day duties will include:
* quality assuring and reporting on content and functional developments of Collection Online;
* collaborating with colleagues in curatorial to agree and prioritise improvements to the Collection Online;
* researching and developing contextual information about the Royal Collection; and
* promoting Collection Online ensuring it is widely known, and used, by target audiences.
The Person
With your experience in a digital content environment and a degree in a relevant subject you will drive the next phases of the Collection Online project.
You will be analytical and an effective communicator able to work collaboratively and build working relationships with colleagues and stakeholders quickly.
With exceptional organisation and administration skills and a high attention to detail you will deliver a high standard of presentation of the Collection Online.
Experience working with editorial style guides would be a significant advantage.
