Apologies for any Cross-Posting
Dear All,
Following feedback from those who have already registered we have designed the programme for the pedagogic research conference on the 18/19 June which is to be held at the University of Birmingham. Details are attached to this email along with the original flyer but sessions include: Analysing Qualitative and Quantitative Data, Understanding the Literature, Writing for Publication, Maximising Dissemination, Developing Follow-on Plans, and Fellowship and Recognition.
In addition to plenary sessions, we have decided to adopt an approach where participants will work in small groups, along with a mentor to develop their own action plans; this might include the outline for a paper, proposal for further study, or a funding proposal. As such it is expected delegates will leave with a plan that will help them further their research and scholarly activity in 2013/14.
Please note, while we are hoping to continue to run events in 2013/14, and as such we are working to secure support to do so, this may be a final opportunity to access bespoke advice and guidance through a dedicated free event. We have both day delegate and residential places available and these are free of charge to those within UK higher education.
Best wishes,
Michael
