The Wisconsin Center for Education Research is proud to offer a two-day
Transana training workshop on August 22nd and 23rd, 2013in Madison,
Wisconsin. This workshop will be facilitated by David Woods, Transana?s
Lead Developer.
This workshop will cover all aspects of using Transana for the
qualitative analysis of video, audio, and still image data. Topics will
include bringing data into Transana, creating different kinds of
transcripts for different analytic reasons, linking transcripts and
media files, identifying and coding analytically interesting segments of
media files, and making sense of coded data. This workshop will
introduce Transana 2.60 and the capacity for analyzing still images
introduced with this new version of the program. We will also cover
advanced topics such as working with multiple simultaneous media files,
working with multiple simultaneous transcripts, and the collaborative
analysis of media files.
The workshop will combine presentation, discussion, hands-on practice,
and individual consultation. Participants are encouraged to bring their
own data, although workshop data will also be provided. You can read
