List members might be interested in this account of living in the Nakagin Capsule Tower in Tokyo, built in the 1970's and slowly being abandoned. I like the slow story of decay that it tells, it feels to me like the complexity of use and decay is in contrast with the disposable mentality people associate with modernism.
