Due to popular demand the deadline for Abstract Submission for the BMSS Annual Meeting - 9th-11th September 2013 has now been extended to Friday 21st June.
Along with the usual Barber award for the best student oral presentation and Bordoli award for the best student poster presentation as kindly sponsored by Syngenta and Waters Corporation respectively and both of which will be assessed by a panel of judges, we are also pleased to announce that due to the kind offer of additional sponsorship by Astra Zeneca we will also be running a Best Audience Nominated Poster Prize which will be voted on by delegates at the meeting.

There has also been a change in this year’s format and the meeting program is designed to appeal to users of mass spectrometers in academia, industry and hospitals alike. With two opening lectures on the Monday evening, panel discussions including The Delivery (or lack of) of Biomarker Discovery and a seasoned debate on The Future of Immunoassay in Clinical Analysis on the Tuesday as well a special Mass Spectrometry Training course for biomedical and clinical scientists on the Wednesday, this years meeting promises to deliver something for everyone within the Mass Spectrometry community.
We will also be running our very popular Introduction to Mass Spectrometry course on Monday 9th September. Registration for this course is available via the main meeting Registration form. Please note, registration for this course does not include registration for the main meeting and vice-versa.
