The eighth Cicero Awayday will take place at the University of Glasgow on
May 13th, 2014, and aims to continue the Awayday's tradition of friendly,
informal and wide-ranging discussion. Papers on any aspect of Cicero's
life, works and reception are welcome. Papers should be no longer than 30
minutes in length; shorter papers will be considered, and the presentation
of work in progress is encouraged.
Proposals should be submitted to Professor Catherine Steel ([log in to unmask]) by January 10th
2014.
As in the case of previous Cicero Awaydays, no funds are available for
travel or accommodation, and there are no plans to publish proceedings.
The day's timetable will be arranged to permit attendance from most parts
of the UK as a day trip, and is likely to run from 11am to 5pm.
