Our client, a significant family archive based in Bedfordshire is looking for an experienced Archivist / Records Manager to manage and establish appropriate record keeping policies, systems and processes with all its departments. You will also be responsible for rationalizing existing archive material, to ensure it is appropriately sorted, catalogued and conserved. The successful candidate must be a professionally qualified archivist or records manager, with a proven track record in running and managing archives and RM services. A focus on customer service, and a proactive approach to forming partnerships and thinking on your feet. Hands on experience of managing both paper and electronic records is essential. Knowledge of land law would be highly advantageous. Good salary.
