Newcastle University' s Educational Development & e-Learning Team (part of Quality in Learning & Teaching) is looking for a Development Officer to:
* Lead projects to support the institutional development and adoption of technologies to support learning
* Co-ordinate a range of institutional quality enhancement and e-learning activities to support a high quality student learning experience.
You will:
* Make a major contribution to the development of institutional strategy and practice around the embedding of e-portfolios within the student learning experience
* Support the development and use of the online assessment and feedback service
* Contribute to the use of the institutional VLE, Blackboard.
We are looking for:
* A graduate (or equivalent) with an up to date knowledge of policy and practice relating to learning and teaching.
* Someone with experience of using learning technologies to enhance student learning
* A person who can influence and develop others.
You will be a highly motivated self-starter and excellent all-round communicator, with the ability to develop and maintain working relationships with a wide variety of colleagues.
