1. Do you have the newest version of SPM? I think you could change instances in SPM's code using fileparts to only have 3 output args. I'm not sure if there is a quick fix for it, though.
2. In imcalc you can sum binary masks for each participant. Then areas where e.g. 5 subjects overlap will have voxel values of 5. But if you're just asking about the scale, then you can use the command "colorbar"

Subject: [SPM] Overlap figure scale
Dear all,
I have the following problems with creating an image:
- First: After installing Matlab R2013a I cannot display my nii files anymore and get the error: Error using fileparts Too many output arguments. I get the same error in Marsbar when wanting to view roi_mat files.
I have already seen that this is due to the newer versions of matlab not supporting 4 arguments anymore. But I wondered whether there is an easy fix to this? (I am not very skilled in matlab).
-Second: when I get this first question fixed...I would like to overlay the activations of multiple participants in one figure (I already have such an overlay, but because of question 1 this won't open anymore...).
To this figure I would like to add a scale bar, that shows the percentage or degree of overlap in each voxel. In other words, e.g., clear = 0, yellow = 10, and you move along the scale from clear to yellow indicating whether 3,4,5, etc. people showed significant activity in that voxel for a given contrast.
Do you have any idea how to do this and with what program? As I said, I already have a picture showing the overlap, but SPM did not add a scale bar, and that is what I would like to add to it.
Hope this is all clear!
Kind regards, Nan
