Subject: British food fairs in the 1950s
Dear Laura,
I have a question that hopefully the Chord-network could help out with.
Is there any one who has analysed/discussed the so called British Food
Fair, that seems to have taken place from the mid 1950s? I am especially
interested in the 1955 fair, where the "Gas Council" seems to have
organised an exhibition on "the international kitchen", since I'm doing
a study on deep frozen food and the Swedish kitchen. I have noticed that
there are annual (?) publications/catalouges from the fairs, but are
there any studies?
Kind regards
Fredrik Sandgren, Uppsala
