PhD Position
University of Leicester
A University-funded PhD position has just become available with Dr Matt
Burleigh, to study planets around White Dwarves in the XROA group at the
University of Leicester.
That it has this source of funding from the University of Leicester's
College Scholarship scheme is important, as it is open to any EU student.
This is contrast to normally-funded PhD places that are available only to
students that have been in the UK for three years.
See: http://www2.le.ac.uk/departments/physics/postgraduate-study/pgr/projects/xroa/searching_for_planets
For more details please contact Matt Burleigh ([log in to unmask]) and
Andrew Blain ([log in to unmask]), and follow the instructions at
http://www2.le.ac.uk/departments/physics/postgraduate-study/pgr/application-information-1.=20
Applications would be welcome at any time. We intend to make an offer
during June 2013.
