Another approach is to use http://Dedoose.com, a commercial QDA service. It can be initialised with NVivo export files, and costs 10.95 US$ each for 2 or more users, with discounts for advance payments of six months or a year or groups larger than 10.

One way, is that each individual team member will have their own copy of the project and the work will be divided accordingly among team members. Their work will then be merged into one overall project. This will be possible even if some team members are using NVivo 10 for Windows and others using NVivo 10 for Mac. The first release of NVivo 10 for Mac is scheduled for late 2013.

We recommend that all users who will be using NVivo Server are on the same network. However if that’s not possible then we suggest using remote access methods like Citrix, or Microsoft Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP). There’s more information about in this FAQ: http://www.qsrinternational.com/support_faqs_detail.aspx?view=1323 Also, licensing is generally not a problem if a user already has NVivo installed on their machine with a current license key. NVivo Server licenses (CALs) are purchased separately depending on the number of users that will be using NVivo Server. NVivo 10 for Mac won’t be compatible with NVivo Server 10. However we are working on a future NVivo Server solution to support both Windows and Mac users.
