Hi Marion,
Great to see GCU following Leeds example and developing institutional guidance on the creation and use of OER.
I'm particularly interested in the development of OER and open education policy in Scotland at the moment so this is a really welcome step in the right direction. I'd also be very interested to know it any other Scottish universities or colleges provide guidance of this kind, does any one know of any other examples?
Cheers
Lorna

Hi all,
We now have a library page with guidance on OERs up and running. Our Learning Technologists are going to kick in some suggestions. It is based on the University of Leeds policy, but at least it is a start. Check it out athttp://www.gcu.ac.uk/library/findoutabout/copyright/openeducationalresources/libraryguidanceonopeneducationalresources/
It is not the final version, but at least it is a start and we hope to get more discussion going across the rest of the university.
Happy Wednesday
