Hi Donna A study hit the news recently indicating that retirement can have a detrimental affect on health ( backing up Sue's coment on going part time) http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-22550536 http://www.nhs.uk/news/2009/10October/Pages/Health-after-retirement.aspx "They note that these significant predictive effects were still present after taking into account the health of individuals before retirement. They say this implies that there was a clear direction of influence in which employment status was causing the differences in health, rather than the other way around." NHS choices have specific Health promotion areas for the over 60's that might give you some ideas for content. http://www.nhs.uk/LiveWell/men60-plus/Pages/Men60-plus.aspx http://www.nhs.uk/LiveWell/women60-plus/Pages/Women-60-plus.aspx ******************************** Please remove this footer before replying.
