Hi Sam,
I'm using the standard sshd with CentOS 6.4 (so I'm guessing that's a no for moonshot patches), and no, the ID selector is not popping up in the gss-client test (the gss-client I use came from the standard KRB5 package)... it uses ~/.gss_eap_id (which has been configured with the right ID). gss-server parses the SAML-AAA-Assertion attribute from the RADIUS server ok and spits out the right bits (that I would expect, based on the changes yesterday).
Regards
Stefan

What sshd are you using?
does it have the moonshot patches applied?
sshd -d -d
and ssh -v -v output is often useful
is the identity selector popping up for you for the gss-client test/
