Dear Colleagues
I would be grateful if you could circulate the following to postgraduate students (past and present) who you feel would be qualified to undertake a PhD in British film music, focusing on the legacy of the musical director, Muir Mathieson. This is a fully-funded AHRC studentship, held jointly by University of Glasgow and the British Library. The research will use the British Library's archive on Mathieson as a central resource. The closing date for applications is 20th June 2013.

MeCCSA is the subject association for the field of media, communication and cultural studies in UK Higher Education.
