Dear colleagues
There are still some spaces left at our CoLRiC event on Friday 7th June to
be held at Newcastle City Library.
The day will provide a great opportunity to gain some new ideas and
suggestions for delivering information literacy sessions. You will be able
to experience different types of delivery, hear about new methods of
engagement and learn how to measure impact. Andrea Wilson, Grazyna Kuczera,
Nicola Scott and Sean Mckernan will be our key presenters and Sheila Webber,
who recently presented at LILAC 13, will be running a workshop on the
'Profile of the Information Literacy Professional' which is an IFLA project.
Don’t miss out! join us in Newcastle and take away some fresh ideas to
invigorate your own information literacy sessions! Cost only £65 for CoLRiC
members, £90 for non-members (including lunch).
Booking and further details on the CoLRiC website at:
http://www.colric.org.uk/events.php. The event will also be held in
Northampton on Friday 21st June.
CoLRiC is an independent organisation working with library and learning
resources centre managers in further education and sixth form colleges to
enhance and maintain excellence in their services.
Best wishes
Sue
