Good morning,
We have developed an in-house ERMS using our online catalogue system, SydneyPlus, which allows us to create new customised tables and fields to our catalogue. Unfortunately, I cannot point anyone to our internal site. It is very customised (we are a government law library). We have some outstanding issues and look forward to hearing about these other types of systems and projects to see how certain functionality, tasks etc. are handled to try and find good solutions for our own system. It is certainly not perfect. Our main objectives were to allow us to organise electronic resources for ourselves (coordinate all the emails, paper, spreadsheets..) and for our users. We wanted to make use of existing information and follow one of the 4 main tenets of the original ERMI report: integration in one system (as opposed to having more than one system that has to be interoperable with something else like our catalogue).
I would like to know of other organisations that might have built their own system but which is not necessarily visible to the public, particularly if you are a smaller operation and, whether you would be willing to be contacted and allow us to pick your brains. Anyone is certainly allowed to try and pick mine :-).

Subject: [lis-e-resources] ERM systems and KnowledgeBases
Dear colleagues,
we are trying to gather information about projects relating to
self-developed ERM systems and collaborative or open knowledge-bases
projects.
For the moment, we collected information about the following KB
projects:
Bimpe (http://bimpe.free.fr)
KnowledgeBase+ (www.jisc-collections.ac.uk/KnowledgeBasePlus)
Kuali Ole GOKB (http://gokb.org)
and about the following ERM systems projects:
Coral (http://erm.library.nd.edu)
Cufts (http://researcher.sfu.ca/cufts/erm)
GoldRush (http://www.coalliance.org/grinfo)
E-Matrix (http://www.lib.ncsu.edu/e-matrix)
ERMeS (http://murphylibrary.uwlax.edu/erm)
Does anyone know about other similar projects not listed above?
Thanks a lot in advance.
With regards,
Francesca Musina
