Call for papers
The Americas between history and myth: 1492-1700
This panel aims to explore the tenuous borderline between history and myth in the perception and representation of the Americas during the early modern period. We welcome papers from a wide range of disciplinary perspectives, including cartography, mythology, art history, poetry, ethnography, historiography and travel narratives.
Please send a 150-word abstract, paper title, keywords and a brief CV (no more than 300 words) to Elena Daniele ([log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]>) and Carla Aloč ([log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]>) by June 3rd, 2013.
