Hi FSL experts, I would like to know how many cores does each of the processes in the FSL pipeline use? (eddy, dtifit, bedpost, registration, probtrackx).
I am designing a program that runs in parallel different subjects calling FSL through the command line. I'm using Java and creating threads, if a computer has X number of cores, I'm not sure how many parallel processes should I run without killing the machine and if I want the user to be able to run other programs like internet etc? The program will also call freesurfer. As far as I know recon-all runs on only one core, nto sure about FSL processes.
Thanks,
