FSL 5.0.4 is now available from NeuroDebian (it might take another day
for it to get into your local mirror).
This release brings a number of changes. Most importantly a change in
the FSL package names. Note that any machines that has the old packages
installed should automatically upgrade to the new packages.
Here is a summary of the package name changes
fsl -> fsl-core
fsl-5.0 -> fsl-5.0-core
fsl-doc-5.0 -> fsl-5.0-doc
In addition there is a new meta package available from NeuroDebian only.
It provides two new packages:
fsl-complete
fsl-5.0-complete
These packages do not provide any specific functionality, but can be used to
install all of FSL at once. Unlike the old 'fsl' package, 'fsl-complete'
will install FSL's binaries, FSLView and all data files that are shipped
with FSL. Users that want to pick individual aspects of FSL's functionality
can still use the individual package, but new users are advised to
install 'fsl-complete'.
As always, such significant changes could have introduced bugs that I
could not catch during my pre-release testing. If you notice some faulty
behavior, please report it.
Enjoy,
Michael
