POSTDOC POSITION AT ICM AND LPP, PARIS, FRANCE WITH PAOLO BARTOLOMEO
AND PATRICK CAVANAGH ON PATIENT AND fMRI STUDIES OF EYE MOVEMENT
BEHAVIOR. SUPPORTED BY ERC ADVANCED GRANT ON PREDICTIVE POSITION CODING
Starting date: September 2013 or later
A postdoc position is available to work on patient and fMRI studies
with Paolo Bartolomeo at the Institut du Cerveau et de la Moelle
épinière in Paris in collaboration with Patrick Cavanagh at the
Laboratoire Psychologie de la Perception, also in Paris (the main
research site will be the ICM).
The postdoctoral student will collaborate in designing and running
experiments on eye movement and perception in patients with saccade
deficits combined with fMRI studies of these patients and controls.
Training with patient populations and eye movement research is
important, as is programming proficiency. (We program in Matlab,
Python, and C++.)
French language is a requirement for the patient studies.

interview there.
Applications for the postdoc should be sent preferably before August
1st, 2013, but later applications will be considered until the
position is filled. Net salary is a minimum of 2,000 euros per month,
according to French standards. The initial appointment is for one
year, renewable once.
