I would be concerned that the material would not be robust enough to handle traffic - it is inevitable that people will trample across it, balls get kicked around even when there are NO Ball Games signs, toddlers engage their cross country mind and go off piste, the maintenance crew will have to do something to it periodically.
Is this material robust enough to handle traffic seeing as it is designed for little more than a bird to land on it?
And then is the proposal to have drainage underneath it, I imagine this material is free draining. Where does the water go? If this material becomes waterlogged, what happens?
Just some thoughts
Cheers
