Tate Archive is looking for six exceptional people to join our small, friendly and enthusiastic team, based at Tate Britain, to deliver timely results in the following posts:
5 Archive Cataloguers to list the personal papers of the internationally renowned sculptor, Barbara Hepworth and/or Hepworth-related archive collections (Ref: TG0574) & 1 Archive Cataloguer to box list and catalogue other archive collections as allocated (Ref: TG0575).
Successful candidates for all six posts will also invigilate, retrieve material and answer enquiries, from a diverse range of researchers, in the Hyman Kreitman Reading Rooms.
You will hold a Post Graduate diploma or MA in Archive Administration or equivalent experience, and you will have experience of archive cataloguing and familiarity with ISAD (G). A high level of accuracy and appropriate IT skills are essential. Awareness of relevant legislation and its impact on the archive sector will also be advantageous coupled with relevant subject knowledge.
The Hepworth and Hepworth-related posts (TG0574) are offered as follows: three on fixed term contracts for 9 months and two on fixed term contracts for 18 months. All these posts are for 36 hours per week at a salary of £23,129 per annum.
The box listing and cataloguing post (TG0575) is offered on a fixed term contract until 31 March 2017 working 14.4 hours per week at a salary of £9,252 per annum (pro rata to £23,129 per annum).
