Dear all,
You may be aware the the quantitative / GI Science sessions at this year's RGS-IBG annual conference largely run through the Thursday (August 29th) and Friday (30th).
Midway through this - in the last session of the Thursday - the QMRG and GIScRG will be hosting a wine reception at which will be launched a report about the state of quantitative methods teaching in geography in UK schools and Universities. It will also see the launch of various tools and resources to promote the use and application of Quantitative Methods.
You are cordially invited to attend. Free passes to attend this session are available to those who are not attending the rest of the conference. A limited number of travel bursaries are also available.
To help with planning, it would be helpful if you could register your interest at https://atrial.qualtrics.com/SE/?SID=SV_a8BbIRlLmBgu22x. Applications for bursaries can also be made there.
We look forward to seeing you in London.
With best wishes,
