Applications are invited for a full-time, three-year PhD studentship to undertake a research project entitled ‘The impact of the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park on young people in east London’. The studentship is funded through Loughborough University’s Graduate School as part of a joint initiative across Schools to develop urban and community-based research. The work will be conducted under the guidance of Dr Heike Jöns (Geography) and Dr Mary Nevill (Sports Science) who will jointly supervise the project. The starting date of the studentship is 1st October 2013.
